Woofer was born a week after the Oklahoma City Bombing and was very special. After many cyst surgeries, she had her leg removed in March, 2003. On her first night home she tried walking. She learned to walk again and became a pet therapy dog at a local hospital. In October, 2004 she was on her way to the vet for yet another cyst surgery. She fell and became paralyzed from the back down. From October till January 5th she tried to walk again. She could scoot herself a 180 degree turn. She died in her sleep on January 5, 2005. She is sorely missed.
