I loved you so much. You were my life and I don’t know what I’m going to do without you.
But together with the grief, I feel joy for all the wonderful moments and the love we gave one another. I just wish our time together would have been longer … 12+ years just wasn’t long enough.
I hope I was a good “mommy” to you. I tried to be, to always make you feel safe, welcome, treasured and loved. Thanks for being the best thing that ever happened to me.
