They merely act as symbols of a bond between us two.
Your walk your voice your wagging tail were attributes so fine -
My beloved little Bent Dog is still with me all the time -
I miss the way you'd gnaw your behind or chew upon your feet -
Although I hate to see you go you made life more complete.
Farewell to you my honored friend until we meet again -
no dog will ever take your place even when I mend.
