Cat
I remember the first time I ever saw my sweet cat Fluffy.
I walked out my front door and there she was
sitting on the porch of an abandoned house across the alley.
I started taking her food everyday
but she would never come out and let me pet her.
After about 6 months she did come out and let me pet her.
Before I knew it she made my porch her new home.
My husband built a little house for her so that
she could keep warm outside.
She was so lovable.
She turned out to be a very sweet cat.
She liked it outside. She didn’t want to be in the house.
I took care of her for about a year and all of a sudden
she wasn’t herself anymore.
I took her to the vet.
She was diagnosed with feline leukemia.
All I could do was cry and tell her how much I love her.
The decision to put Fluffy to sleep was
the hardest decision I’ve ever made.
I wanted her with me but she isn’t in pain anymore.
Her suffering is over.
I will never forget my sweet Fluffy.
She will live forever in my heart.
