The two frog friends
From a pond, leaps a frog,
It sits for awhile and hops away.
From a pond, leaps another frog,
It wants to find its friend.
They croak and croak,
Hoping to hear each other’s voice.
They croak and croak,for awhile,
But there is no answer.
After awhile, they hop away, sadly,
Still croaking to each other;
After awhile, they are too tired to croak
And leap high in the air… then plunge into the dirty water.
