On October 5, 2003 my husband happened to be in the kitchen, giving kisses and hugs to all the furries when he saw Gracie struggling to breathe. He brought her to me. Thinking she was choking, I checked and in fact she was not. I began CPR, all of us around her, telling her it is okay, momma is trying to help you. Letting her know we love her. It’s okay, seeing fear in her eyes. Her gums and tongue turned blue, gave one last strong breath and died in my arms. This is not only for Gracie but for all the lost furry babies. Gracie, you big sweet loveable girl. A real lady, the attitude I’ll so dearly miss. Kisses sweetheart,I tried so very hard. Your brothers and sisters are now with you greeting
you with licks and headbumps.
With eskimo kisses,
Gracie |
