In the spring of 1991 we decided to find a little pet to help
fill our hearts with joy. My husband and I tried for many years to
have children with no luck. We did not know we HAD a
child in a small fur ball we named “Krickette”. She had been
the child we always wanted and never were able to concieve.
Little did we know she was going to have such a tough life.
She had to have her tiny little 2 inch knee re built at age 5.
The worst was the seizures she suffered from age 3.
Eventually by age 8 last December she became very sick from all
the medicine we were giving her to try to make her life better.
She fought so hard so did we. If prayers were enough she’d
lived to be 100!!! But so so very quickly the dreaded cancer took
her from us on March 2 2000.
The hardest thing I ever had to do make that phone call to say
we are ready to stop her suffering.
The pain was as intense for me as when I watched my Dad die
from cancer in 1995.
I miss my “Little Rickey” you see when Dad died,
she comforted me the most.
Always there to kiss away my tears for her Grandpa.
Now she is with him. Who will comfort me now?
We are lucky she did have a son Mortimer.
When I look into his eyes I see a glimmer of her
Thank God for our little Angles!!!!!
