We got Lady when she was six weeks old.She was beautiful,full of life and so friendly. We had her for about three years and decided to get another dog. It was good company for her. They soon got on well together. They loved playing on the beach and chasing each other. They ran so fast. Lady was clever. She barked when she was hungry and when she needed the toilet she barked or stood at the door.
Then on the 9th of February our lives changed forever. Lady and Keela were out a walk. They were playing on the beach then went on the golf course. My husband was shouting for Lady but there was no answer. Then Keela went past him and sat on the hill next to something. That something was Lady lying dead. We don’t know if she broke her neck going too fast and hit the embankment. We cried for weeks every day. Thinking of all the good times and wishing she was still here.
Now we have a puppy which is 8 weeks old. Her name is Sally and she is lovely. She will never replace Lady but will ease the pain. There is not a day goes by but you think about Lady and how we miss her.
