Cat
Lucy was a lovely cat.
She was very curious and from this a strange but very humorous
story arose.
Once there was a cat called Brian and he was Lucys best buddy.
I didn’t like Brian because he ate all my butter one day and so I discouraged
Lucy from hanging around with him.
However one day Brian and Lucy ran off together.
I was very upset as I had no idea where they could have gone.
However – was I in for a surprise!
Lucy came back with Brian 3 days later.
I had been very worried indeed and I was very upset too.
Lucy came back with Brian and 9 other cats.
They all ate my cat food and stayed in my house.
At first I was annoyed with Lucy – but soon I began to enjoy
the company of 11 cats and I was happy to look after them.
All in all it was a really nice thing – maybe Lucy had brought them as a
gesture because she had sensed that I was upset after the
divorce from my husband.
Unfortunately Lucy passed away last Thursday before tea.
She was a truly remarkable cat.
