My handsome Midnight Star
You were my guardian, my teacher,
my assistant and my friend
for so many years.
You opened up a brand new path,
that was both fascinating and complicated.
You took me on a journey,
that made the unthinkable, believable.
With your strength, your spirituality,
you opened up a whole new world,
that took my life in many directions.
You introduced me to a new way of living,
And together, we had a wonderful adventure.
We released you to spare you any more pain.
Now you are off,
continuing your teaching and healing
on the other side.
We will meet again, I know,
But for now, our hearts are broken.
