I brought you home 18 years ago
seems only like yesterday though.
You were so sweet and small
just a fuzzy, furry little ball, with
the sweetest little paws.
You brought smiles and joy to everyone
you touched..and we all loved you so very much.
The love and loyalty you gave us,
will be cherished forever.
Your sweet little head..cupped in his hands,
Daddy held you close, as I kissed you goodbye.
Then Daddy said… goodbye
just as you closed your little angelic eyes.
