Penny by Charlotte / Charlotte

When I was 7 years old my parents brought me a puppy. She was around 6 months old as we got her from a rescue centre. She had been abused and abandoned she was so small and skinny and very timid when we got her. But she grew into
a gorgeous lively little girl who loved everyone.

When she was about 10 she got cancer and she got weaker and weaker, until she cried in pain. We decided to let her go to heaven. We took her to the vets and I held her hand when they injected her giving her a kiss and I told her how much I loved her and I will always remember the look in your eyes when you were going. You looked so relieved to get away from the pain. I love you still so much; it’s been nearly four years and I think about you every day.

Until we meet again at rainbow bridge,
Penny
