Periwinkle was given to me because I took in a sick cat from a breeder and she felt bad and gave me Peri the good will cat.
She was blue and beautiful. Shy but yet knew how to get her way. She stayed on her own and was trying to make friends with the other pets (4 other cats and one dog). She would perch in the bathroom on the heater and ask for hugs and kisses from everyone who entered.
Aby’s have a period of gawkiness and she was right in the middle of it. Only I could take her demanding behavior, she was a mama’s girl.
One day I found her stiff and not moving. She was crying and in very much pain. We took her to the hospital and they told us she was anemic and was suffering from kidney failure. They gave her fluids and antibiotics but it was too late, her heart stopped.
My beautiful blue baby. She was gone as quickly as she popped into our home. I will miss your morning hugs and all our long talks. I wish you were here longer.
