You were a gift for my 15th birthday from my father. Not only were you the best gift I ever received, you were the last gift I ever got from him. Not that he has passed on or anything,he just doesn’t choose to have anything to do with me. In a way, you sorta filled in his place. Now 11.5 years later all I have of you is our memories. I’ll never forget that little wagging tail and how you loved to have your belly rubbed. In your last few days I knew that wasn’t you. I won’t remember you like that, just all the good times we shared.
Reggie, you will never be forgot. Right now I keep thinking how lonely I’m gonna be when warm weather comes and you aren’t right beside me. It’s so hard thinking that you are gone, but I know you are in a better place, where you will never feel pain again. You will always have a special place in my heart that will never be filled!
