Dog
It was a wet damp day on January 3rd 1996.
I remember sitting down on my couch when my parents came in
and told us we were moving. They also said that we had
to get rid of all of our animals. I cried.
I was born on Oct. 21st 1986. The dear lord brought me in this world I
think to help and care for thousands of animals. I am one who could never sit
and watch animals being killed so you have to understand that horrible
day was why I cried.
We moved out of Peck lane in 1992. I was scared but luckily my cousin lived
right down the corner so I would have someone to talk too.
Well lets get to the chase we got Rocky from the Planville Dog Pound,
he was only 5$!! Now this wonderful dog was an akita.
A nice brown with curly tail big down that I loved so much to pull it and play
with it it never bothered him. I came home from school on a bus and I
saw my sister with a dog in our front porch.
Who does the dog belong too I asked? Go ask mom I ran inside.
Who does the dog belong too? Well it is ours! Really seriously? Yep.
I was happy. Oh my God call someone please hurry! stop stop!
See my cousin had a dog too but it was a small puppy still Logan.
One time my cousins had brought there dog over and rocky got him and
was biting him and wouldn’t stop we had to pull rocky away!
Call someone please Stop Stop hurry! That were the words out of one of
my cousins mouth. When they finally got Rocky out Logan was bleeding so t
hey got him fixed up. Everyone in the neighbor hood hated Rocky and they wanted
him dead or to leave. I might have only been 7 at the time but I knew Rocky
has his enemies. There was another akita on the block Rocksy a female who was
fixed they hated each other. Rocky had a girl a brown dog that wasn’t fixed
named Sandy. That dog was beautiful and the day the accident happened it was
just so depressing Sandy got hit by a car!
The Flecthers told there children that she ran away. They caught on eventually.
Sandy was considered my dog before we had gotten Rocky so I was upset…
This witch next door Fran eww she called the police and dog pound saying that
Rocky should be taken away. He lucked out I guess. When my parents told me we
had to move I thought and soaked cause we had to get rid of all of our animals!
We had like 4 cats and Rocky. Where we were moving to NO PETS/Animals.
I called the first person who came to my mind Amber my aged cousin she wasn’t
home so I left a message on there answering answering machine.
The day we moved I remember waving good-bye to everyone on our street,
but at the time where was our animals Tabitha at a city life where they can
roam free in the wild where my dad works well sort of next is the garage where
he works T.K my cousins Aunt Joyice to him but he ran away Friskey went
to the Wilsons my aunt uncle and cousins Tabitha had 4 but we gave 2 of
them away when like she first had them the other two is at the free thing.
Rocky last but surely not least. For the first two days we moved he stayed
at my grandparents house then a woman read the ad and took him.
She lives in Terriyville and the last I heard of Rocky was that he graduated
dog school. Congrats Rocky.
But who knows how he is doing he could be dead sick excellent lets not
think of the worse though ok? He was always there for us but
I couldn’t be there for him! He used to sleep by me and my sisters room
but when my dad came home from work he slept in the hallway next to our rooms!
He protected us in the noon when he took naps he would sleep in the bathtub
it was funny! I miss him. When me and my sisters were just fooling
around he’d pull one hand that was being hurt and try to get us out!
If I had one wish ever it would be to see him once more just one more time.
I know this isn’t a contest but I would love it if my wish came true you
don’t have to but can everyone out there someone anyone help me reunite
with who once was my protector family but most of all my friend?
Rocky where ever you are I hope that you know
I LOVE YOU WITH ALL MY HEART AND I PROMISE I’LL NEVER FORGET YOU,
NO MATTER IF TIMES ARE HARD I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER YOU!
I have other adventures of Rocky but that is
another story…
