We rescued our beautiful Rotty when she was only a
puppy living outside in horrible conditions.
Our lives had already began to be blessed with her love
before we even got her home. She was just a little ball of dirty fur
but we could tell she was full of life and we would
cherish her forever.
Shelby was the funniest puppy we have ever had.
Everyday she did something more amazing than the
day before. That made us love her more with every passing
moment she was in our family/home.
Shelby had her little ways of letting us know she was grateful
we gave her a loving home and family.
She would nudge her nose into our laps to say “I love you”.
She would wake us in the morning with kisses to
the face and paw us to say
“I want you to get up now and play with me”.
Shelby was 2 years old when the good Lord took
her home to be with him.
At 2 years of age she was still more playful than any
dog I had ever met.
Words cannot describe her funny lovable
devoted personality.
She was pregnant and due to have her puppies in less than
a month when she broke off her cable and wandered onto
the main road by our home. She has never been a dog to
wander away especially onto the roads
(she was afraid of cars).
My beautiful baby was hit by a vehicle that never even
stopped to see if she was ok.
They just left her there in the road to die alone.
Shelby died taking a piece of our hearts with her and
we miss her so much.
Shelby Mommy and Daddy will always remember
and love you. You were our child and now we have to find a
way to go on without you in our lives.
You sister and brother Sasha and Todd want you to know
how they hurt and just don’t understand why you
had to go away.
Sasha is hurting more than any child should that has
lost a sibling.
Go now in peace and fly high with the angels baby girl.
Tell your Uncle Mike I sent you to be with him and I know you
will fill his heart as you did ours here on earth.
Give all your puppies kisses from Grandma and tell
them I love them too.
