Good-Bye Sugar

I had a freind I called Sugar.

She had been with me a very long time.

But as we all know time does not go very slow,

so she is with me no more.

I'm talking about my little black dog

who was more than a pet to me

she was a good friend who eagerly gave her love for free.

Time did go by and after fifteen years,

I realized it was over through the many tears.

I told her it was time to be on her way.

I dont know what waited for her

I could not say.

So good-bye little Sugar my dear little pet

I'll always love you through every sunset.

I still miss you very much.
