To say the least my Tuck Tuck was unique.
A dog that learned from the best mentor – Jake.
Never did he chew up the furniture eat food that was left
within his reach or wander away from home.
The discipline and devotion of my Tucker was unsurpassed
in my book.
In his life he was a vagabond due to me.
Where ever we traveled he adjusted…and never left my side.
If he was concerned about being left he was smart enough to lay
in front of my truck so as to not be left behind.
Have you ever seen a dog bury a bone or biscuit?
Tucker was the King.
On his last day (April 4 2002) he still had a brown nose from a
prize he hid 4 days prior.
What I will miss the most is my forever companion…
going with me everywhere my 4 wheels took me.
The back seat will probably have his hair as a remnant for
years to come. My mother use to laugh about my “fuzzy” companion
in my truck because from a distance it looked as though I was
chauffeuring a little girl with a poofy hairdoo in my back seat.
The final loss for me is the saintly beauty of the unconditional love
that you receive from such a treasure….
my welcome home greeting was a ritual of “talking” with
a ripped up dirty old toy in his mouth but giving me all his
heart was filled with….pure love.
To my Tuck Tuck…
I will miss you more than I could ever imagine
and so will many who loved not only you
but both of us.
To those that read this please keep my Tucker in your hearts
and give him one big “woo woo”…
as he would say.
I can’t wait to have him greet me again some day…
my beautiful baby.
Yours Truly,
Very very sad
Mary
