Today we lost a good friend. Twister was only 5 and a half years old. He was a tan and white beagle and blue tick mix and he lived up to his name! We got him when he was only 9 weeks old and he was a tornado from day one!
He loved to howl and would “sing” with my husband or whenever someone would call our house and leave a message on our answering machine! My daughter would call here and leave messages just for him to get him to howl (she is a 24 year old kid!) He was my son’s best buddy, sleeping in bed with him and crying for him whenever he would leave.
He had a huge cancerous tumor in his spleen and he had seizures since he was a puppy. We hated the seizures, they wore him out and he fought so hard through them. It was really hard to let him go today,
but it was the best thing for him.
I personally believe that the Lord has a special place in Heaven for animals, they are His creatures too. Twister is in Heaven now, running free and healthy. We will see him again someday, but until then, we will have an empty spot in our home and hearts. We love you little buddy.
